I'm another Phil Hurford who has traced his descendants back to the Devon/Somerset area. Starting in Upottery, through West Monkton to Pawlett where my grandfather ran away to London and the army. I would be grateful for any help or advice in tracing back through the 1700's and beyond. Thank you.
