NESFIELD

Post by cjbrad »

Hello,
I am researching the 19C landscape designer William Andrews Nesfield and am searching for descendants who may be able to help. I understand a grandson, known to me only as BP Nesfield, lived in Luppitt around 1900-1910. His son, who was also William A Nesfield, married an Australian, Roma, but died in Indonesia during the 2nd WW, having been a Japanese prisoner of war. Can anyone help me trace today's Nesfield descendants?
Jane

There was a Bertram Powell NESFIELD born in Marylebone in 1970. The reference you will need to quote if you wish to send for his Birth Certificate is as follows:

Births Mar 1870 Marylebone Vol.1a Page 568

This can be done on-line from the UK General Records Office.
